Meet Laura Kemp
I've loved storytelling for as long as I can remember, and earned my creative writing degree from Western Michigan University where I studied under Stuart Dybek.
I'm now married with four kids, and together we live on a small farm with two dogs, two cats and six (give or take a few) chickens. My husband and I also own forty acres in the northern woods, and I couldn't be happier about that!
When not writing, I love to hike, read and play on the water. I also enjoy performing with my Celtic Band (25 years and counting) and in musical theatre. I recently directed both of my of daughters in my first show.
